Festival of Praise
Saint Albert the Great Church

Saturday
October 12, 2019

7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Sharing Jesus with Others

As disciples of Jesus we are called to share Jesus with the world. How can we do this if we do not evangelize. We have been commissioned by Jesus to give witness to the saving grace of God.

The Festival of Praise is a beautiful service rich with motivational songs praising Jesus which remind us of the power of Jesus and the love He has for us. Father Levi Hartle will be the presider this month and Marcie Reilly will give witness to the great commission to spread the good news and hopes that her story will move our hearts.

Marcie is a parishioner at St. Kilian’s parish in Cranberry Twp., a single mother of two teenage boys, co-owner of a family business, and founder of North Hills NOW ministry.

An open invitation is extended to you, your family and friends, to join with us in celebrating the love of Jesus. The service includes an inspirational homily, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and ends with benediction. Visit our Festival of Praise page on the Catholic Community of South Pittsburgh website.

March for Life

Friday, January 18, 2019

Washington DC

Deacon Tim is organizing a bus trip for the 2019 March for Life, which will take place on Friday, January 18th in Washington, DC. Since the 1973 Supreme Court cases, Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, which legalized abortion-on-demand in our country, over 60 million lives have been lost to abortion. Ending abortions and promoting a culture of life is why we march each year.

Deacon Tim is trying to determine which size bus to reserve for our group. If you are interested in joining us, please send an email to deacontim@verizon.net.

If you cannot join us, please pray for our safety on the trip and for the end to abortion. “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless.” – Dietrich Bonhoeffer
