Pentecost Vigil

Saturday
June 8, 2019

6:00 PM – 1:00 AM

“I am with you always.” – “Be not afraid.”

Often when we are faced with troubles or difficulties we search around for some kind of fix. We look for the world’s advice on how to fix our problems – then we wonder why things don’t get better – it’s because we are looking in the wrong place for help. God encourages us to confidently trust in Him in the face of trouble and adversity. “I am with you always.” – “Be not afraid.”

The June Festival of Praise for June will take place at Saint Paul Cathedral as part of the Pentecost Vigil and our team will be helping to pull together the vigil service planned for June 8, 2019.

Bishop David Zubik, Father Mike Ackerman, Father Levi Hartle, and Joy and Patrick Campbell (Cross of Saint Benedict Society) will lead various segments of the service.

March for Life

Friday, January 18, 2019

Washington DC

Deacon Tim is organizing a bus trip for the 2019 March for Life, which will take place on Friday, January 18th in Washington, DC. Since the 1973 Supreme Court cases, Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, which legalized abortion-on-demand in our country, over 60 million lives have been lost to abortion. Ending abortions and promoting a culture of life is why we march each year.

Deacon Tim is trying to determine which size bus to reserve for our group. If you are interested in joining us, please send an email to deacontim@verizon.net.

If you cannot join us, please pray for our safety on the trip and for the end to abortion. “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless.” – Dietrich Bonhoeffer
